IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager / Sr. Database Administrator to work at Patrick AFB, FL. The Project Manager/Sr. Database Administrator will be responsible for all contract activities of the Job Order Accounting System (JOCAS) programming and support of the Comptrollers Financial Information Systems (CFIS), including network administration support, business travel, status reporting, staff retention, customer communication, management reviews, and meeting support. Sets policies and procedures, technical standards and methods, and priorities for the team.Coordinates the efforts of subcontractors, team members, and vendors.Acts as the central point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officers Technical Representative, the Government PM and other client officials.Exercises full authority to act for the company in the performance of the required work and services. Works independently, or under the general direction of senior level company management, on all phases of performance including contract and sub-contract management, project management, coordination of resource needs, coordination with corporate resources and management.Reports to senior company management on contract and task performance and issues.Has direct accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables, and the implementation and measurement of corporate and client quality standards and methodologies. He/she will provide software development support from concept through development and integration to deployment of project system. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge/experience in Oracle database administration and documentation of Database Designs. Candidate will also have knowledge/experience in Oracle Enterprise Database 11g/12c with the ability to Code/Unit Test and be proficient in PL/SQL and SQL, LouisII and Visual Basic.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent. Four (4) years of Information Technology (IT) experience is considered equivalent to a Bachelors Degree.

  • 8 or more years of related experience in program management with a working knowledge of IT O&M, planning, scheduling, testing and risk management.

  • 5 or more years of developing application and coding using Oracle 11g/12c.

  • 5 or more years of developing application and coding using PL/SQL and SQL.

  • 5 or more years experience using Visual Basic.

  • Thorough understanding of software design,design patterns and their implementation.

  • Working knowledge of distributed software systems.

  • Complete understanding and application of DoD, AF, DISA regulations.

  • High level of drive and ability to learn.

  • Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies.

  • Ability to work as a team and individually.

  • Keen on coding and producing.

  • Experience/knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PL/SQL and SQL Server).

  • ***Candidate MUST HAVE a min. Secret Security clearance with IT-II designation and maintain such clearance.

Qualifications Desired:

  • 5+ Years AF IT experience working with Government Entity is highly desired.

  • Have a current OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification or be willing to earn OCP certification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Performs program management activities in compliance with NC2 TJ02 Comptroller Support program, coordinates with subcontractors and government personnel to record and report program status.

  • Provides supervision and training to IndraSoft team engaged in financial analysis, programming, database administration, network engineering and administration.

  • Monitors and analyzes program indicators and thresholds to identify cost, schedule, or performance issues for remediation.

  • Monitors risks and implements remediation as required.

  • Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring and vulnerability scanning.

  • Ensures the maintenance and update Accreditation and Security plans) for Comptroller automated systems to include, but not limited to the Patrick unique Comptroller Financial Information System (CFIS), and the standard Air Force Job Order cost Accounting System (JOCASII).

  • Performs periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts application access, file system and external integrity scans to determine compliance with all AF, DISA and IndraSoft policies, procedures, instructions, laws and guidance.

  • Design and test disaster recovery scenarios for the Comptrollers data warehouse.

  • Provide development, implementation and maintenance of new or existing tools.

  • Provide Oracle Database Administration for the Comptrollers financial data.

  • Provide PL/SQL and SQL to support the creation of complex, customized web applications based on customer needs.

  • Manage administration of Unix servers, workstations and printers.

  • Provide help desk support and management for CFIS, JOCAS and Air Force Standard systems.

  • Ability to work with multiple development groups on different releases simultaneously.

  • Ability and willingness to produce final quality database design documentation.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  • Independently works on routine assignments.

Physical Demands:

While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to Normal demands associated with an office environment.Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
