The 3D Systems site in Littleton, Colorado is expanding rapidly and needs a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to augment the existing team under the direction of the Manager of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Maintenance Lead. The successful candidate should be experienced in implementing systems, creating new ways of work, and operating with immature business processes. Additional experience in solving problems, documenting procedures, and managing small projects are crucial to a successful Maintenance Technician. Our pace of growth is only matched by the pace at which our customers expect their new and innovative products to be delivered. Maintenance Technicians oversee our growing fleet of 3D Laser Printers and Auxiliary equipment from installation to frequent Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks.

Hours for this role are: Monday-Thursday 6am-5pm.
Performance Objectives
1. Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance. Technician will be able to adhere to PM schedules and follow associated WI's to complete work.
2. Perform Corrective Maintenance. Technician will be assigned daily corrective maintenance tasks by leadership.
3. Multitask and follow Priorities. Multitasking of numerous projects is a must and the ability to communicate machine/equipment status to Maintenance lead is essential. Following tasks that are handed out and completing those in a timely matter will be huge part of our success.
4. Gather and track machine issues. Technician will use numerous systems to track machine status, parts needed/ordered and tasks completed. Excel spreadsheets, Service Max and Salsas Force systems will be utilized.
5. Support Engineering. Working closely with our engineering manufacturing team in implementing machine/equipment fixes and or improvements on a frequent basis.
6. Work within a team environment. We need technicians to come in and help build a team culture based upon excellent communication skills and dedication in making our department great. Techs will work very closely with Machine Operators, fellow Maintenance Techs, Maintenance Lead and Dept. Manager.
7. Lead smaller projects. Tasks/projects will be handed out that may take days/weeks to complete and techs will be responsible for maintaining timely completion. High standards of quality of work will be adhered to and expected.
8. Help with Installation of new equipment. During new Machine installations techs will be asked to assist Maintenance Lead in completion.
9. Facilities Maintenance and Laser Machine auxiliary equipment maintenance. Ability to work on/repair various different types of machinery ranging from Laser Machines, Blowers, DI water systems, Stress Relief Ovens, Blast Cabinets, chillers and other auxiliary equipment. Technicians will be responsible for all machine aspects of the manufacturing floor and ensuring that they are in operational condition.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experienced technicians with a background in manufacturing machine maintenance
  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience
  • Basic knowledge of 3D printing and 3d laser machines is preferred.
