IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a full time, highly qualified Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting the Anniston Army Depot at Anniston, Alabama. The Systems Administrator candidate will be responsible for administering and managing system hardware and software operated in a MS Windows Server environment. Additionally, the position will support program Information Assurance/Security tasks.

The successful candidate will: Set up, configure, and support internal and/or external servers. Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security and network configurations at the unit level. Troubleshoot performance issues and create and maintain the disaster recovery plan. Install system releases, conduct periodic backup procedures, archival processing, resolution of system errors and notices and provide assistance to the NSAD. Recommend patches, new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance, establishment of new users and passwords for server access. Complete tasks designed to ensure security of systems and information assets. Protect against unauthorized access, modification or destruction, and track compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
5-8 Years System Administration experience.
3+ Years experience utilizing various servers with MS Windows 2012 Operating Systems (OS).
Familiar with a variety of fields concepts, practices and procedures.
Familiarity with performing STIGs and writing POA&Ms.
Excellent communication, business analytical, and problem-solving / troubleshooting skills.
Effective Customer Service and management skills / capabilities; including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) and/or externally.
Strong English language skills (both written and verbal).
Must acquire CompTIA Security+ and MS Server 2012 certification within 6 months.
Must have active Interim SECRET clearance and maintain SECRET Clearance.

Qualifications Desired but Optional:
Familiarity with network device management

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Work in coordination with Network and Systems Administration (NSAD) to manage servers and applications.
Provide day-to-day assistance with server administration on various servers utilizing Server 2012 OS.
Responsible for reporting metrics such as managed server downtime, patches, upgrades, STIGs and general server administration.
Process user access requests and manage user accounts.
Review event logs to identify issues and notify personnel.
Monitor server performance and utilize approved procedures to maximize system performance.
Monitor servers to ensure the security of the system from unauthorized users.
Identify and apply STIGs and patches to the servers, database, and middleware.
Manage the security registration and support accreditation of the server in order to operate on DOD networks.

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
