We are seeking an Accounting Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA to support our North America Consumer Products team. This position will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties for the Consumer Products business. The successful candidate must be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines. Strong presentation skills and a desire to acquire new proficiencies are keys to this position.








A Day In The Life Typically Includes:






This key position is responsible for a stand-alone integrated business management software, Net Suite, for eCommerce activity. This role will maintain the account structure, conduct monthly business close, and define and test controls/security.








Responsibilities:








  • Collaborate with the Financial Systems team and the eCommerce business leaders.

  • Provide excellent internal customer support by developing strong relationships with the eCommerce business leaders to improve understanding of their business needs.

  • Help develop and implement process and system improvements, where appropriate, to capture value through improving efficiency, leveraging technology and reducing waste.

  • Prepare mapping of Net Suite ledger to SAP ledger and other required journal entries for eCommerce during month end closing. Provide other closing back up support for the team, as needed.

  • Oversee inventory movements at offsite warehouses to maintain tight inventory controls and decrease risk of inventory loss.

  • Prepare monthly analysis reports to drive accountability, transactional excellence and to support the eCommerce team.

  • Support the PO process for procurement of raw materials and purchased finished goods. Work with team driving open aged PO issue resolution.

  • Assist with developing and maintaining a strong internal control environment. Conduct periodic assessments of the internal control processes to help identify and drive corrective actions.

  • Participate in cross-functional business improvement initiatives.

  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and information gathering, as requested.



What You Will Need:



Education Required:



  • Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance


Basic Qualifications:



  • At least7 yearsof accounting or financial analysis experience

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation etc., Access-query, and PowerPoint presentation creation/editing)



Knowledge Skills Abilities:



  • In depthunderstanding of General Ledger and Cost Accounting principles

  • Conceptual understanding of the design and purpose of internal controls

  • Highly motivated, proactive, willingness to engage and partner

  • Strong customer focus with analytical, financial and economic thinking skills

  • Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Aptitude and desire for learning new systems and improving processes through automation

  • Basic self-awareness and an understanding of how personal behavior impacts others



What Will Put You Ahead



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Coursework should include Intermediate Accounting and Cost Accounting

  • Clear understanding of integrated financial systems (Net Suite, SAP or similar)

  • Previous supervisory experience (direct or indirect)

  • Public Accounting, Large Company Corporate Accounting or Manufacturing Environment preferred
