This position will operate all of the automated equipment related to the Tox Machine, LEF Machine, and Band Welding. Each machine has its own industrial computer for monitoring faults, troubleshooting, and overall process operation
The operator will be responsible for inspections and gaging, and reacting to faults and jam ups that cause production stoppages. Scrap and partial parts must be processed and re-circulated through system. Equipment and surrounding areas will be kept clean and operating correctly. Preventative Maintenance will be performed on a daily basis.
  • Operator will order and load material into machinery.
  • Operator will set up the equipment and keep it running. Responsible for production output levels and quality.
  • Responding to/resetting of faults and machine stoppages, and clearing of jam-ups is required.
  • The operator is responsible for part inspection, part quality, and documenting information. The equipment has work instructions, which must be followed and adhered to in a timely manner.
  • Make adjustments to machines using a variety of small hand tools. Lubrication and inspection of various stations, pallets, components, etc. is required.
  • Maintaining the safety guarding will be required.
  • Operator will work closely with AST support personnel.
  • Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, and clean/restock area at end of shift.


  • One year of continuous employment with one employer (excluding temporary agencies)
  • Availability to work any of our three shifts - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Availability to work at any of our locations
  • Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 months on current temporary assignment at InSinkErator

  • Work authorization
