Field Service Calibration Technician

Job Description
ANKO is currently interviewing for a Field Service Technician to work in and around the L.A., Orange and Riverside County area. The position requires performing testing & certification of various equipment, instruments and devices. The ideal candidate will have mechanical skills, a solid customer service background and knowledge of computers. The desired candidate will be required to work independently as well as within a team dynamic. Knowledge of electrical or mechanical repairs is a plus. The position requires daily driving so a clean DMV record is a must. Calibration Tech completes testing, calibrations and repairs in a safe, timely, and accurate manner, following company and client specific policies and procedures.

Majority of work time will be utilized completing calibration and maintenance of customer equipment on site at customer facility.
Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of company and client equipment, including vehicles, testing equipment and standards.
Works to understand client needs and requirements through effective communication and develops client relationships through excellent customer service.
Ensures client requests are conveyed to the appropriate management resource and met in accordance with management direction.
Maintains a neat and professional work surroundings and projects a professional image at all times.

Job Requirements

Basic understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios.
Skilled with mechanical, physical/dimensional, environmental, general test equipment and electrical instrumentation; as well as manual and computer-based systems; understands and applies basic concepts of calibration and requirements including accuracy testing.
Basic understanding and application of instrument, equipment and various parameters in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.
General electrical panel knowledge and electrical safety procedures.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
