Purpose:



~ Assists in the area of financial analysis and planning.



~ Provides Management with data to be utilized in making well-informed decisions.



~ Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and financial plan.





Major Responsibilities:



~ Review of all incentive programs for reasonableness and accuracy.



~ Analyze incentives monthly, quarterly, and annually based on financial results.



~ Prepare monthly and annual incentives forecasts.



~ Prepare monthly analysis of Hyundai and Genesis vechile purchase order and pipeline trim mix profitability.



~ Prepare as-hoc analyses on incentives.



~ Coordination of the annual company budget, with a primary focus on incentives.



~ Prepare, analyze and present financial reports reflecting actual performance against budget for specified months.



~ Create presentation material for Executive Committee meeting.



~ Administration of purchase requests. Review and verify budget information and supporting documentation.



~ Communicate with Departments to resolve discrepancies.



~ Work closely with HMA/GMA Sales departments to reconcile incentive program spending.



~ Supervise departmental training of incentive proposal and budget templates.



~ Develop contribution margin plan including resolving pricing, costing and mix issues.



~ Responsible for coordinating capital budgeting expenditures with departments.



~ Complete special projects on requests including lease vs. buy schedules, accounting history, feasibility studies and procedures on selected items.



~ Frequent written and verbal communication with departments on variety of issues.





Education:



~ Must be a high school graduate.



~ Must hold a Bachelors degree, Accounting, Economics or Finance.



~ MBA/Masters degree preferred.





Related Experience:



~ Five to seven years of experience of which at least three years of directly related financial planning experience.



~ Large, multinational organization experience preferred.





Skill/Knowledge:



~ Strong personal computer skills, i.e., Excel, Powerpoint, Access.



~ Exceptional analytical skills.



~ Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles



~ Proven efficiency leveraging data from various systems for analysis and reporting (including AS/400, ISeries, QMF, SAP, Altyrex, MicroStrategy, Tableau and SQL analytics).



~ Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to formally present financial information to management.





Certification required:



~ CPA or CMA desired
