Summary of Role
The Associate Channel Account Manager helps support, maintain, and expand the International Firm Association & Networks relationships with assigned channel partners. Using a consultative sales approach to sell AICPAs broad portfolio of membership and learning products through channel partner relationships.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Conduct meetings and perform discovery sessions to understand clients needs and develop and propose learning solutions and delivery options to meet those needs.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AICPA products and services, including technical delivery systems, content and membership offerings and customization options in order to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

  • Work with learning and development to understand technology needs in order to deliver and distribute membership value, content and learning product

  • Understand and Promote the CGMA and AICPA stores

  • Effectively document communication with clients using Salesforce

  • Manages International Firm Associations and Networks as channel. Create new and maintain existing relationships with thought leadership and resell content to firm members and conferences.

  • Participates in marketing program planning, development, and execution to ensure that the programs succeed according to plan.

  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a proactive partner relationship.

  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.

  • Document and provide weekly activities, feedback, and results to Manager

  • Engage other internal team members to participate in customer outreach when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders, including third-party providers, on technology solutions for proposed or ongoing customer delivery of products and services.

  • Assist with preparing and managing proposals and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained, as needed.

  • Stay abreast of developments in the profession, hot topics and portfolio team product developments.

  • Develop and maintain current records and documentation, including channel processes, usage reports and access control for key accounts

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple accounts while providing a high level of client satisfaction

  • Understanding of training and education business

  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and strong relationship management skills

  • Strong communications and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to creatively develop solutions

  • Strong project management skills
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 4-6 years experience with at least 1-2 years of experience working with Training and Education Sales or operations
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the accounting profession and the needs of practicing CPAs

  • Minimum 1-2 years of Channel sales experience in a Technology company or Education training

  • Experience with LMS,LCMS, CRM, Content Management Systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Office

  • Creative and Innovative, Out-of-the-box thinker

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
