Fuel your intellectual curiosity and professional growth. Forrester is an idea company, where smart, motivated, curious people bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on ideas that change the course of business. Most of all, bring a point of view; here, every voice has value. At Forrester, you'll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

About This Role:

Join a rapidly growing team that offers consulting to technology companies on their solutions' value. The Forrester Total Economic Impact (TEI) team publishes studies on the financial value of technology investments and decisions. Associate Consultants are crucial in supporting consultants in every project phase. Associate Consultants act as TEI 's operational engine, maintaining and innovating the processes, tools, and data that drive our team and products' efficiency and quality. If you are analytical, an excellent customer communicator, skillful in writing and project management, and an avid tech learner , then this position is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a project facilitator and key contributor to consulting projects sold to senior-level marketing executives at technology organizations.
  • Support consulting staff on doing survey research and design, coordinating executive interviews, and managing qualitative and quantitative data gathering.
  • Develop and edit project deliverables, including studies, presentations, interview guides, and infographics, through coordination of internal and external resources.
  • Manage third-party providers, including custom research vendors, translations vendors, and others.
  • Lead and support operational initiatives contributing to the success and growth of the TEI practice - team meeting planning and logistics, repositories of past project deliverables, Salesforce.com data entry and reporting, and template updates.

Qualifications

  • A BA/BS degree with a strong academic record and experience in client/project management, marketing, or editorial/communications. Technology or research experience is preferred.
  • Superior communication skills, including presenting, writing, and data visualization, with a high degree of intensity, follow-through, and collegiality.
  • A strong aptitude for and/or experience in project management; experience with vendor management is a plus.
  • The ability to collaborate across and outside the organization to meet client needs.
  • A long-term desire to become a high-performing, autonomous consultant delivering Total Economic Impact studies to marketing executives.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
