Job Description

Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to create and execute customer plans to drive growth of the Scott brand within Kimberly Clarks Home Professional Business, a retail-focused, consumer-facing extension of the core B2B business. This position reports to the Associate Marketing Director of the Home Professional Business.


  • Partner with sales team members to deliver against brand/business objectives within the Hardware and Home Improvement Channel (ACE, Home Depot, Do it Best, Lowes, etc.)
  • Develop annual marketing, merchandising, and trade promotion plans for the channel
  • Develop and lead the effective execution of advertising, promotions, trade shows and marketing collateral to achieve growth objectives
  • Lead/participate in key customer planning meetings and trainings
  • Balance A&P budget in order to hit growth objectives while optimizing returns. Provide input into forecasting for accounts.
  • Continuously measure effectiveness and ROI of initiatives and apply learning in ongoing strategies and plans
  • Lead the overarching Social Media strategy for the brand with agency partner that the team of channel markets executes within their channels.
  • Develop and execute trade show strategy and activation for channel including participation at the shows.
  • Responsible for category management of Scott Rags In a Box and Safety products.
  • Foster cross-functional engagement with internal and external partners through effective written and oral communication capabilities, a customer service attitude, a highly-organized work process, and a "can-do" attitude with internal partners
  • Travel <25% for customer meetings and trade shows.


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience in marketing
  • Intermediate-level competency in areas of Consumer & Market Insights, Brand Strategy & Positioning, Integrated Marketing Planning and Financial Management
  • Beginner-level competency in areas of Innovation & Product Portfolio Management, Pricing Strategy, S&OP Planning & Understanding
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and project-management skills
  • Able to work in a matrix organization driving collaboration across functions, geographies and businesses
  • Strong analytical, project, time management, collaboration, and communication skills essential
  • Entrepreneurial. Motivated by challenges with a robust sense of curiosity.
  • Must be able to function in an independent fashion, owning his or her responsibility by driving decisions and possessing a high degree of accountability .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a consumer packaged Goods Company.
  • Experience with home improvement retailers

Preferred Education

  • MBA with an emphasis in Marketing
