The Associate Director, National Accounts Drug Channel develops, leads and executes strategic plans to maximize Galderma sales with customers within the Drug channel. This individual provides leadership to an account team that is responsible for implementing annual business plans supporting our Corporate, Business Unit, and Brand objectives. This includes incorporating people leadership, organizational and customer collaboration of product performance goals that will maximize revenue and profitability vs budgets. Drives internal & external collaboration with focus on a high performing sales team that is customer focused.

Responsible for customer & channel level P&L management and reporting in support of the overall business objectives

Provides leadership, coaching, management, motivation and direction to team by working with direct reports to ensure that account strategies are aligned within Category of Trade (COT) and that account level strategic plans are effective and deliver against forecast

Leverages understanding of channels and customers in the marketplace to build innovative solutions that ensures revenue and profit objectives are met

Provides appropriate leadership across all levels of an organization to build and maintain mutually dependent relationships within assigned channel

Fosters and develops collaborative business planning, implementation and evaluation of strategic and tactical initiatives that deliver business goals

Works collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all proposals and presentations effectively influences all key decision makers in strong execution of plans

Applies advanced negotiation techniques to reach mutually acceptable agreements with customers that develop long term value for Galderma and its brands

Evaluates and leverages customer specific programs to drive both short and long term success while translating retail observations/insights into total store actions

Translates comprehensive 3rd party market data and insights across both internal and external stakeholder groups, focused on building actions that accelerates sales and profits

Travel & Residency

Remote (Chicago, IL, Boston, MA, OR East Central U.S.)

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

MBA preferred

Ten (10) or more years of consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience working with retailers and alternate channels

Three (3) or more years of leadership experience managing a team

Three (3) or more years of experience managing budgets and expenses and knowledge of P&L; proven ability to build business case for any proposed initiatives and present to senior management

Proven track record of success in delivering sales and profit objectives

Previous Category Management and Trade Marketing experiences preferred

Demonstrable experience developing and implementing annual business plans that exceed expectations

Strong ability to analyze data and monitor retail patterns and sales to drive incremental business

Proficient with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software

Strong ability to establish and maintain influential senior level relationships between Galderma and the customer focused on building a mutually dependent relationship

Strong ability to manage contracted performance expectations and oversee execution to achieve desired business objectives

Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management skills and abilities to assess trade-offs and synergies among projects

Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with people individually and groups

Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues

Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships across departments

Strong negotiation skills
