Purpose:



~ As a key member of the Talent Management Team, assist in talent development and internal communication initiatives in support of a high performing organization.





Major Responsibilities:



~ Assist Manager of Talent Development & Employee Communications with company-wide initiatives and programs including learning and development, high potential programs, talent/performance reviews, and career and talent mobility.



~ Coordinate onboarding of all new hires including orientation, communication, integration, and processing of appropriate onboarding documentation including New Hire Packets and personnel files.



~ Assist with planning and execution of the comprehensive new hire employee cultural immersion program First Gear.



~ Create and produce regular employee communications in print and/or electronic formats as needed including e-mail, employee portal, lobby and elevator monitors.



~ Support external employer branding strategy for recruiting purposes (i.e. LinkedIn and Glassdoor branding).



~ Assist with design and develop e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Suites (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Audition).



~ Assist in administrative management of the Learning Management System (LMS).



~ Track course completion and send reporting to key business partners.



~ Manage talent development and learning logistics including but not limited to creating marketing materials, tracking registration and attendance, and sending follow-up emails.



~ Assist in developing, administration, and analysis of employee feedback surveys.



~ Take on ad hoc projects to support overall business objectives.



~ Occasional training facilitation.



~ Other duties as assigned.





Education:



~ Must be a high school graduate



~ Bachelors degree preferred





Related Experience:



~ One year of talent development, learning and development, or HR experience.



~ One year of internal communications experience.



~ Automotive industry experience a plus.





Skill / Knowledge:



~ Strong attention to detail.



~ Excellent written, oral and communication skills.



~ Strong analytical skills.



~ High level of personal and professional integrity.



~ Exhibit innovation, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.



~ Customer focused and able to collaborate effectively.



~ Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.



~ Knowledge of adult education principles, training methods and techniques.



~ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Office 365.



~ Proficient with Adobe Suites (Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Audition).



~ Proficient in software authorizing tools (Articulate Storyline).





Physical Requirements:



~ Normal office duties



~ Ability to travel up to 10% of time
