Right now, we are seeking an Electronics / Computer Repair Technician to provide maintenance for ATMs, retail point of sale equipment, and related PC and PC peripherals. This position works predominantly evenings, weekends, and non-standard shifts (other than 8:00-5:00 M-F).

Job Responsibilities

As an Electronics / Computer Repair Technician, you will provide maintenance for ATM's, retail point of sale equipment, and related PC and PC peripherals. Additionally, you will provide scheduled cleanings and other basic maintenance on Kaba Mas Hamilton locks, and be expected to perform basic installation and minor repairs on all Diebold products and services. This position may require the use of basic hand tools, limited parts and a general understanding of PC, PC peripherals and network connectivity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing and planning service calls
  • Contacting the customer with the estimated time of arrival
  • Escalating problems when appropriate
  • Reassigning calls when appropriate
  • Reviewing call history
  • Accurately reporting service data
  • Interacting in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationships
  • Replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.
  • Pulling cable, mounting devices, installing Mas-Hamilton locks
  • Clearing paper jams, card jams, bull jams, etc.
  • Basic troubleshooting including:

o Following key/alarm/combination control processes in assigned area of responsibility

o Supporting service technicians in performing preventative maintenance inspections on conventional products

o Maintaining effective communication with Business Team and Service Technician Team members

o Developing working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedure s

Electronics / Computer Repair Technician requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and limited parts
  • Basic understanding of PC, PC peripherals, and network connectivity
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the company in a dependable and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Acceptance of exposure to the outside elements
  • Shift adaptability and good customer relations skills
  • Sense of urgency, organizational skills and work in team environment
  • Ability to pass MVR, background and drug test
