As a member of the Data Services and Integration team, the DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and administering Cloud and On-Prem Applications. This includes cloud native applications, CI/CD pipelines, application lifecycle management and automating operational tasks using Terraform, Python & DevOps tools like Azure DevOps.


  • Collaborate with multiple internal/external stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and optimize end-to-end solutions.
  • Research, Develop, Maintain and Support Azure Cloud based services and solutions.
  • Assess existing complex solutions and recommend/implement appropriate technical treatments to transform the application with Cloud Native/15-Factor characteristics.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible to provision and maintain resources on Azure Cloud.
  • Develop, Support and maintain the CI/CD pipelines for new applications as per the requirements on Azure DevOps or other tools.
  • Automate common, repeatable tasks at large scale to streamline operational procedures on various technology stacks within team.
  • Research and evaluate tools for enrichment of DevOps tooling, build POCs and stay abreast of industry best practices and contribute ideas for improvements in DevOps practices.
  • Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to written design and process documentation, and participate in customer documentation process
  • Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Keep current with new technologies and developments in the Cloud Native space
  • Flexibility to work with global business teams.
  • Work effectively in a global team environment.
  • Work with vendor to resolve product issues


  • Bachelors degree (B.S.) with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems OR masters in computer applications
  • Azure Products: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure CosmoDB, Azure DevOps tools, Azure Storage, Azure Web Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub, Azure ARC, Cloud Native Application Administration
  • Python
  • MS PowerShell
  • C#.


  • 3+ years of strong experience in building highly scalable, elastic Cloud Native applications that deploy a rich variety of Cloud provider services (Azure)
  • Must have knowledge of Cloud Native architecture patterns and strategies including SaaS, PaaS, Security, Compute, Storage, and Messaging.
  • Experienced in using the latest technology trends such as Serverless, Containers, Microservices etc.
  • Experience building applications using Containers and Serverless technologies
  • Experience in supporting enterprise level Azure Platform services like API Management is a plus
  • Must have experience with the DevOps Lifecycle.
  • Experience with configuration management and automation technologies (e.g. Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible).
  • Ability to research, evaluate and present to audience.
  • Azure certification is a desirable
  • Experience to coordinate with local and global teams and be resourceful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Must be open to work during off hours/days as the need may arise
