As a Sales Operation member in our Professional Systems Division, you will be in charge of the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) area. You will be responsible for driving the S&OP process to ensure optimal demand and supply management and customer financial and service level goals are achieved.

The four major areas are:

Maintain optimized stock level by executing standard strategic planning process. Translate sales insight into demand plan. Develop reporting tools and provide insight and analysis to assist colleagues with regards to shortage, product quality, recovery plans, end of life, new product launch schedules, and pricing. Drive continuous improvement of the current processes for more efficiency and productivity

Key Actions

  • Communicate closely with national PRO sales managers and their administrators to get clear understanding of their needs/challenges they face both in short and long term
  • Reach appropriate colleagues/stake holders internally and externally to come up with proper solution or idea
  • Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain to achieve customer satisfaction levels as well as mitigate inventory exposure
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Support, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance to identify best practices, determine global build planning capabilities, and ensuring that the appropriate data is available to establish an accurate supply plan
  • Work closely with global supply chain colleagues to meet common targets that fall in inventory area such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, days inventory on hand, and air freight cost management
  • Assist demand/supply planners' job to execute strategic planning for PRO products
  • Drive regional S&OP and revenue consensus meetings monthly.
  • Monitor and keep track of impactful PRO projects by using MSD CRM and relevant reports in Power BI
  • Facilitate the discussion between sales and supply chain colleagues in any meetings such as monthly Sales Commit Meeting
  • Develop optimized business process as global standard process to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Follow up and monitor the new developed processes until they are settled in with standard operation procedure documentation.
  • Educate cross-functional partners on the S&OP process and engage them in the ongoing process as appropriate.
  • Develop the capabilities of the demand planning and production planning resources.
  • Lead and coordinate inventory strategy processes that seek alignment with business strategies

Key Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience
  • Have sales mind (sales experience preferred)
  • Positive and energetic team player with strong cross-functional diverse team experience.
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. Mandarin and/or Japanese fluency a plus.
  • Specific experience in the areas of S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and CPFR (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment)
  • Experience with supply chain network planning, scenario analysis and optimization tools
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Experience of use of SAP ECP/APO, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Kinaxis preferred.
  • Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify, interpret and resolve unstructured problems
  • Constructive & collaborative approach facilitating organizational improvement
  • Process design capability and workload management experience
  • Travel internationally several times a year as needed
