Under the immediate supervision of the Chef Manager, is responsible for providing dining room services to Sugar Hill residents as well as washing and sanitation of kitchen area.

This is a full-time position working 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Manages food so as to minimize waste
- Works collaboratively with Chef Manager and Assisted Living staff to coordinate menu selection in accordance with dietary requirements of residents
- Completes work checklist daily
- Prepares and serves breakfast to residents and caters to reasonable requests
- Washes all breakfast dishes
- Responsible for sanitation of kitchen and storage areas as required
- Resets dining room in Assisted Living
- Set up and breakdown of events and functions as required outside of dining area

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Experience: Culinary training or proven working ability to produce quality meals. Experience with all aspects of food preparation. Ability to relate well with residents
