Job Description:

Our objective is to become the leading brokerage and advisory firm in the United States. We are currently searching for a candidate who will play an integral role in our growing team. This opportunity is to join a team as a junior investment sales broker and work alongside experienced brokers.

You will benefit from an open, collaborative team concept and be supported by a highly respected international platform and benefit greatly by full access to databases, in-house marketing support, analytical support and a culture of highly motivated and successful professionals. You will also be provided team and corporate marketing tools, a specialized marketing and research staff, outstanding support resources, industry-specific technology, and exceptional hands-on training.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in a commercial brokerage environment with a desire to become an investment sales broker; however, strong candidates from other fields will also be considered. Special consideration will be given to candidates with exposure to the local area and investments sales market. A real estate license is not required to interview, but ultimately will be required.

Candidates must possess solid business development acumen, communication skills, problem solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Strong math skills and an understanding of financial markets and models are also essential. Brokers on our team will be required to bring a positive, high energy attitude every day. In addition, candidates must be self-motivated, coachable, tenacious, ambitious, and possess the desire and ability to develop and maintain relationships and a pipeline of business.

This is a sales position within a sales team. The vast majority of the first 24 months will be business development. You must enjoy talking to people and maintain advanced social skills. Your success will depend largely on your ability to develop new business through cold calling, networking, branding and social media. A familiarity with proposal based sales and big-ticket sales are a plus.
