RESPONSIBILITIES

The Data Analyst will help with retrieving, analyzing and presenting data from Constellis systems of record (i.e. Cost Point and ADP to help improve existing business processes. Must demonstrate proficiencies in data analytics, understanding data flows, system configurations and have experience applying Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing to administrative processes in order to improve quality and reduce costs of operations. Act as liaison between business area and technical support teams to ensure all parties have complete understanding of issues/requests, requirements and process steps to ensure alignment and successful outcome. Ability to interact and project manage across functions and all levels of the organization to help drive process consistency and desired business outcomes.

  • Provide project support as needed: gather, analyze, evaluate, and document business requirements, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and perform post-production validation
  • Produce and maintain process documentation and other relevant records as needed
  • Work with data sets to address difficult, non-routine analysis problems using sound statistical approaches
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables and presentations
  • Make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information
  • Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis
  • Analyze data and develop processes that ensure integrity and continuous monitoring of Constellis functional data
  • Develop systemic analytic tools that bring together data from disparate systems to ensure integrity and highlights anomalies
  • Key participant in the use of data and systems to ensure regulatory and company compliance with regards to employee data
  • Serve as key stakeholder in the design and architect of employee master data
  • Partner across functions and business units to leverage data to drive operational decisions
  • Integrate information and business knowledge into pragmatic solutions
  • Become and remain knowledgeable on external trends and relevant technology that are related to Constellis functional processes, systems, and the creation of business value
  • Become and remain knowledgeable on key HR business processes and systems and how they operate/integrate
  • Ability to communicate how to leverage technology to create business value and become more effective and efficient
  • Ability to identify the service level requirements and criticality of the functionality based on business process impacts
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 7-10 years of applicable experience
  • Proficient with Business Analytic Tools
  • Experience with SQL
  • Familiarity with Cost Point/ Deltek and ADP Benefit and Payroll databases
  • Ability to translate data into useful information
  • Ability to design and create data validation/data exception reports
  • Demonstrate use of data for "exception" management reporting / dashboard development
  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing applied to administrative processes
  • Project Management Skills
  • Experience with data analysis modeling, design and documentation
  • Very strong business analysis skills. Ability to work with business users to fully gather, define, and document implementation requirements, test scenarios, and test cases
  • Experience in 1 or more HR business process areas such as self-service portals, employee benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, talent management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
