Responsible for analyzing clientrequirements and determining appropriate technical solutions for the Data Services IT Group. Works as a liaisonamong stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and document requirements for changesto business processes, business reporting and information systems. Performsall duties in accordance with the companyspolicies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, whereinthe company operates.


1. Leads development effort, releases, quality assurance, and new implementations within the IT Data Services Department.
2. Serves asthe lead resource and designated in house expert for the IT Data Services department in handling complexissues and serves as a subject matter expert for the bank systems.
3. Cross trainsother business systemsanalysts to ensure that all foundational institutional knowledge regarding systems,applications, processesand procedures are understood and implemented.
4. Analyzes documents and data feeds to facilitate requirements; proposesand validates the results of the development to the documented business requirements.
5. Supports andmonitors IT ETL processes to ensure operational effectiveness and audit compliance.
6. Conducts detailed systemsanalysis; defines objectives, documents current systems,gathers information on future requirements, prepares systemsdesign and specifications, and defines securityrequirements.
7. Determines operational objectives by studyingpartnering business unit functions; gathers information, evaluatesoutput, and specifies requirements and formats.
8. Reviews documentation with business unit stakeholders, clarifies any questions or issues, and presents to the stakeholders for approval and implementation.
9. Creates andmaintains documentation of processes, reports,applications, and procedures as per department policy.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration, quality assurance, and technical skills.

  • Knowledge of Bank operations and lending products and services.

  • Knowledge of SDLC and COBIT.

  • Knowledge of Change Management and SOX methodology.

  • Experience with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, MS SQL Server, HP Quality Center, and related industry standard software tools.

  • Understanding of data privacy legislation and standards such as GLBA, OFAC, MISMO, et al.

  • Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.

  • Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management.

  • Ability to make informal and formal presentations, inside and outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed.

  • Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.


  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience and/or training. Work related experience must consist of information systems management experience in the financial services industry.

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
