Position Overview:


As the Cabin Services Supervisor you are responsible for supervising, leading and coordinating the cabin services team; and are responsible for the safe and efficient cleaning of aircraft cabins. Position requires, heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching in varying weather conditions. Adheres to all standards, procedures ensuring all grooming, grooming team (as applicable) are supported by following established procedures and protocols.Job Responsibilities:


Job Requirements


  • Responsible for supervising, coordinating and allocating staff and resources to fulfill service standards for our customers.

  • Ensures that subordinates comply with working hours scheduled and duties as per published daily plan.

  • Ensure that grooming standards are delivered safely, on time and consistently in line with service level standards set for both time and station performance.

  • Promptly handle all customer service complaints with a focus on positive resolution.

  • Responsible for staff scheduling, leadership development and employee accountability.

  • Ensure that the kitchen, galley and crew areas in the airplane are clean, tidy and safe

  • At regular intervals, ensure detail aircraft by polishing, protecting, and cleaning

  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly

  • Ensure the professional cleaning of the office areas as required

  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times

  • Report all equipment malfunctions and health and safety matters to the duty manager

  • Ensure that all staff are in compliance with the daily routines, procedures, policies and appearance and our customers SLA and expectations

  • Ensure that regular operational briefings are performed with the staff within the grooming department

  • Maintain high standards of safety and security at all time

  • Participates in all internal meetings and Airlines meetings when required

  • Ensures tasks are performed in accordance with the Company and Airlines specific procedures and policies.

  • Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role.

  • Assist maintenance team with other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in US

  • Must have High School Level Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently

  • Previous experience working in in a similar role and in an aviation environment is desired

  • Ensure that all changes within Menzies Aviation that have an impact on grooming services staff are communicated promptly

  • Detailed knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods procedures

  • Comply with MA uniform and appearance policy

  • Good verbal, organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Must have a valid Drivers license with good driving record

  • physically fit and capable to lift up to 50 pounds

  • No fear of heights

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work

  • Flexible to work various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card and all required security clearances
