Job Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of New York City & Regional office space for Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC, GFI and affiliate including support of critical MEP systems needed to operate facilities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversee day -to - day building operations to insure the office space is in good repair, clean and meets the needs of our associates, manage moves ads & changes to work environment.

  • Support the facilities infrastructure of all Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing (MEP) support systems to insure they are in good working order and meet the needs of the business.

  • Ensure customer requirements are consistently met with an emphasis on maximizing efficiency and value of the Client's facility infrastructure investments.

  • Evaluate critical support systems and identify and resolve problems, risks, and issues. Coordinate and plan for future requirements.

  • Provide support for future requirements including upgrades of existing office space.

  • Coordinate power and cooling requirements within offices plan and schedule projects.

  • Manage activities to install, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components in relation to the Building Management System.

  • Manage all aspects of the project delivery system to ensure on time an on-budget completion including funds authorization, design development, bid administration, contract negotiations and construction administration.

  • Responsible for ensuring all project documentation is accurately and timely generated and maintained, and for managing the risk/liability of all contracts on behalf of the Client and the Company.

  • Maintain all knowledge bases and technology platforms which support the related facilities infrastructure functions

  • Responsible for developing and generating reports containing operating and financial metrics for the function and individual projects, maintain department allocations and inventory of office space.

  • May perform other duties as assigned

    Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, Engineering, MEP preferred

  • Minimum of 5-7 Years of experience in electrical, air conditioning preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems

  • Very strong all round infrastructure knowledge

  • Strong PC skills

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus

  • A positive customer service orientation

  • Good oral and written communication skills necessary
