Responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting Client Configuration packaging needs for Solar enterprise.
  • Understand business processes
  • Architect, design, code, test, and package software applications for enterprise delivery;
  • Develop software programs for custom automation for the enterprise desktop environment;
  • Develop detailed software design specifications for assigned projects;
  • Document installation and troubleshooting procedures for all approved software and make available to other members; Assist with the troubleshooting of applications in relation to application packaging and virtualization;
  • Adherence to project schedules to ensure compliance with contractual deliverables for the customer and ultimately drives revenue;
  • Adhere to roadmaps and standards for core Applications;
  • Research and develop standard configuration settings appropriate for each application; Development and execution of lab testing plans (including automated and manual testing processes);
  • Assist the relevant teams with completion of the software release process following successful lab testing;
  • Liaising with software vendors to understand product lifecycles, security updates and other releases;
  • Create and submit required documentation and other report associated for the applications;
  • Liaison with the support organization on open issues and investigations;
  • Execute ITSM process including but not limited to change management, incident management, problem management, release management, asset management, configuration management, and knowledge management
  • Issue escalation to software vendors where appropriate;
  • Ensure all new and proposed software is tested with existing desktop images prior to deployment.
  • Designs and implements processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
  • Works independently on complex modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems;
  • Works independently on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components
