The Supervisor is responsible for the direct management of the employees or temporary staff within the team and also the functions they perform. This job requires the ability to lead and encourage a team of people in being proficient and efficient in multiple functions. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, handle escalations, manage a budget, and adhere to critical deadlines. This work involves utilizing multiple systems, so this individual must be detailed, organized and flexible when changes are needed.


  • Coach, develop and assist the team as needed in processing daily work and/or performing a quality control function in order to enhance the client experience.
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues on client accounts. Research and resolve problems in an effective manner to achieve established client service objectives in accordance with Company guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching on performance and encourage employee development with managerial courage. Manage and execute performance reviews and goal setting with employees.
  • Proactively search out and implement efficiencies; challenge the status quo to modify the process.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret system data, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Strong time management skills; meeting or exceeding service level agreements and project deadlines.
  • Must ensure employees are meeting all individual, department and company objectives on a daily basis.
  • Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Update procedures and participating in audits (internal and external).
  • Obtain and maintain a current knowledge of company products/services, as well as alternative assets, IRS codes and DOL rules and regulations, to efficiently process customer information and respond to client and prospect inquiries in a diplomatic, knowledgeable and timely manner.


  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum three years of related experience.
  • Must have successfully managed and developed a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IRS Regulations for retirement accounts and qualified plans.
  • Retirement Account experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and Google Application.
  • Excellent customer service, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Think quickly on their feet, ability to jump in and make a difference in a very short period of time.
