Will be responsible for bringing to life the EmblemHealth brand, offerings and services across customer facing materials. Partner closely with business leaders to understand the product roadmap and develop the marketing materials needed to position new and existing products within the EmblemHealth value proposition. Be able to craft compelling content across various media types and audiences.


Marketing Materials and Communications

  • Create content to support the sales, marketing and communication efforts for both B2B and B2C audiences. Content to live across various media vehicles including, but not limited to, brochures, website, emails, member, mailers, advertising campaigns, social media, and more.
  • Create and deliver long-form writing such white papers, blog posts, POVs and sales eblasts.
  • Work closely with product/sales teams to understand hurdles to audience understanding.

Content Opportunities

  • Participate in the creation of and maintain content calendars. Participate in editorial board meetings
  • Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and overall content trends in order to propose new ways to engage our audiences
  • Assess topics and opportunities for EmblemHealth to deliver their point of view on health care and wellness
  • Brainstorm ideas and concepts that leverage content to educate or inspire audiences


  • Ensure all materials adhere to Speak Human, our plain language initiative, and brand guidelines
  • Coordinates review of approval of marketing materials by Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders
  • Work alongside multicultural teams for proper assessment and translation of marketing tactics/content (as needed)
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and communications teams to ensure successful execution of all responsibilities
  • Participate in integration meetings to properly understand brand needs and roadmaps
  • Assist in copy development for leadership, sales and/or marketing presentations


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or Creative writing
  • Minimum three years of experience in marketing or creative writing positions required
  • Past experience in writing across multiple platforms/channels required
  • Powerpoint / presentation development skills required
  • Creative writing samples to be provided required
  • Demonstrated project and time-management skills; ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines required
  • A strong communicator that can work with peers and leaders to distill needs and get to desired outcomes required
