Associate or Managing Associate for our dynamic and growing Technology Transactions Practice within Orrick’s prestigious Technology Companies Group.  This position will be based in our San Francisco or Silicon Valley office.  Orrick’s Technology Transactions practice represents clients from start-ups through the Fortune 50, across industries including software, new media, e-commerce, Internet, clean tech, semiconductor, and life sciences companies.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have experience negotiating complex commercial and technology transactions and intellectual property counseling assisting with intellectual property matters in connection with M&A transactions.   Experience with privacy, data security and open source related matters is a plus.  Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar of California is required.
