The Corporate Vice President of Sales & Marketing provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organizations Sales, Marketing & Ecommerce functions, supporting all Full Service, Extended Stay and Select Service properties.



Essential Functions: (Include the following. Other job related duties may be assigned.)





Serves on the Corporate Executive Committee, which sets property direction and policy.





Partners with Senior Sales Leadership and Operations Leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvements; fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization's efficient operation and success.





Develops and manages the annual sales and marketing strategic plan, property group revenue budget, and sales and marketing expense budget.



Establish and monitor individual and team revenue production goals (quarterly and annual goals)



Provides leadership to the Sales and Marketing and Ecommerce executives to achieve sales and revenue objectives.



Continually assess strengths and challenges of Sales and Marketing and E-Commerce team members and provides coaching, mentoring and training.





Engage with the Revenue Management Team to recognize trends and opportunities for optimal partnership.





Evaluate Sales, Marketing & Ecommerce strategy for properties; Propose and implement changes as needed to ensure effectiveness of the function.






Develops and implements sales, marketing, e-commerce, social media and public relations strategy and measurable efforts for the entire hotel portfolio





Responsible for leading and developing a team while driving business to exceed performance metrics set by ownership/management





Works with operational leadership, hotels, revenue management team, Ecommerce team, sales leaders, brand organizations and agencies in developing annual business plans, marketing calendars; regularly assessing efforts and making appropriate adjustments to achieve ultimate results



Minimum ten (10) years progressive hotel sales & marketing leadership experience; proven success developing, leading, and expanding high performing revenue generating teams.





Experienced at managing diverse and geographically remote teams.





Executive presence with the ability to think and act as a global business leader, aligning the sales team's values while inspiring commitment toward the business goals.





Strong creative skills; proven experience implementing innovative solutions.
