As a Costing Analyst, you will work within the Operations organization of Manufacturing Global Supply Chain. You will be responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) costing, working closely with value engineering, GSM program management, supply chain commodity managers, as well as Bose external supply chain partners to ensure Bose is receiving the best possible pricing. The job requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for data accuracy, and the ability to drive change management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive NPI best BOM cost process including LOA tracking and management, to ensure Bose is receiving lowest possible pricing prior to start of production.
  • Program Manage implementation of a new SaaS NPI module working with Bose external partner and internal customers to insure Bose requirements are met.
  • Develop tools, processes, metrics and training for the SaaS NPI module in support of Global Commodity Managers, Program Management, and Engineering.
  • Working in collaboration with Value Engineering, manage costing database inclusive of: process development and ongoing process improvement, data uploads and data integrity, development of metrics and reports.
  • Responsible for new product cost performance (NPCP) reporting and accuracy. Collaborate with finance regarding NPCP process to ensure alignment.
  • Working with our Contract Manufacturing PM's to receive consistent costed BOM's from Bose external supply chain partners; drive consistency in process, format and timing.
  • Drive improvement and enhanced functionality to existing costing processes to adapt to Bose external supply chain model

Must have the following skills, abilities and experience
  • Independent worker and self-starter with demonstrated ability to influence change and drive results
  • Proven ability to analyze multiple data sets with great accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical orientation with a passion for details and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs; high level proficiency with Excel
  • Experience using SAP and Windchill. SaaS experience preferred.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers and team members

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relative experience with a manufacturing global supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Equivalent.
