Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by connecting our capabilities across the firm. RPWS is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive set of personal wealth and retirement products and services through Banking, Merrill Edge and Advisory channels. RPWS provides tools and content that enables financial advisors and bankers to help their clients live better financial lives.



**Job Description:**



Experienced leader to think, execute, and inspire. Responsible for the creation of participant facing education communications driving participant engagement and financial wellness. Oversee the 10+ passionate and collaborative Creative team members to help ensure quality and timely communications are developed and help support our goal of making our clients employees financial lives better. Maintain and enhance a culture of innovation and creativity while supporting high production volumes.



**Primary Responsibilities:**



+ Oversee the development of participant-facing educational communications and the maintenance of the organizations visual and brand standards.

+ Provide significant input into decisions that shape our communications suite and digital design.

+ Nurture an environment that encourages new ideas, problem solving, and opportunities to add value.

+ Guide team in balancing client needs, project goals, time-lines, and dynamic business priorities.

+ Keep current of industry trends and best practices

+ Help the team maintain work standards, quality and productivity, help resolve operational challenges, and implement process improvements.

+ Develop key relationships with internal and external business partners and multidisciplinary project teams

+ Facilitate project sharing, brainstorming, and collaboration

+ Provide tactical back-up to team members as needed

+ Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members

+ Provide analytics and measurement for key initiatives



**Required Skills:**



+ Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field

+ At least 10 years Financial Services experience

+ 5+ years of people management and proven Creative leadership excellence in mentoring, coaching, hiring, motivating and growing a team

+ Extensive experience in writing, design, and graphic design

+ Willingness to be a hands-on leader and coach

+ Possesses the ability to execute strategically as well as tactically

+ A clear communicator who actively listens and anticipates the needs and concerns of others.

+ Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail

+ Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment

+ Highly motivated

+ Macintosh and PC platform experience

+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

+ HTML experience

+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications

+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies

+ Experience with responsive design for Android and iOS applications

+ Ability to travel ~ 5%
