  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of Product Billing Codes and Product Classification.
  • Develop and adhere to master data governance standards, policies, protocols and processes to drive efficiency, minimize risk and ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.

  • Establish master data governance standards, procedures and protocols which support the corporate and regulatory requirements. Implement data management techniques and tools to ensure data integrity and validity.
  • Research, evaluate, design and implement workflow concepts to improve efficiency and accuracy. Analyze, evaluate and process setup/change requests and inquiries while ensuring the quality, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Audit database, analyze results to ensure data accuracy and relevance, enforce protocols, and identify risks.
  • Provide data, reporting, analysis and advice to internal stakeholders regarding: best practices, special circumstances, mass uploads, acquisition support, and additional system functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement; design and implement solutions. Collaborate with internal departments to address company needs and to assess needs and areas of improvement for future development efforts. Implement best practices and procedural changes for process improvement and compliance.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of data fields to identify errors. Correct errors through process improvement, validation, education or system enhancements.
  • Apply knowledge and understanding all aspects of Product Billing (HCPCS Coding) as well as Product Classification (HPIS). Develop and maintain reporting design for billing codes and product classifications. Serve as the subject matter expert as needed in collaborative projects across the company.
  • Analyze files containing HPIS classifications; determine data update needs. Research questions from the product divisions to determine if proper classification has been selected and make necessary changes to the data.
  • Manage HCPCS application process. Work with the divisions and the government liaison to successfully receive proper billing code approvals. Update the system to reflect the proper coding details.
