Human Resources Data Specialist


Essential Job Functions:


  • Enters and maintains employee information in HRIS systems (e.g. transfers, promotions, new hires, terms, change of address, etc.).

  • Reviews and verifies accuracy and completeness of information; follows up to correct or complete data as needed.

  • Responds to unemployment claims and requests for verification of employment.

  • Documents and communicates data entry and other administrative processes to HR and management.

  • Monitors onboarding processes to ensure new hires are processed timely and I-9 deadlines are met.

  • Processes pay card and direct deposit enrollments for new and existing employees.

  • Responds to inquiries and requests from managers and employees in a timely fashion.

  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Minimum Skills and Qualification Requirements:


  • Four-year College Degree in related field preferred.

  • Must have at least 1-3 years of data entry or HRIS experience. UltiPro experience preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, and Internet.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment.

  • Perform duties with reasonable speed and efficiency while maintaining accuracy.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with employee data.
