Responsibilities

The Dev Ops Software Developer will be responsible for supporting or creating tests code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run in support of the customer all source data enterprise. Will participate in Agile development cycles. Works on developing applications from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals. Writes, analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Performs revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements Conducts trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Performs or directs revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes, updates, and maintains computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Consults with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Performs systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. May assist software architects by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  2. Bachelor's w/ 5-7 yrs experience, Master's w/ 3-5 yrs experience, or 0-2 yrs w. PhD degree.
  3. Experience using Agile systems implementation methodologies.
  4. Experience supporting a distributed cross-functional information technology implementation team.
  5. Experience/Proficiency rapidly translating mission needs into end-to-end capabilities and services solution design.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. Any Cloud-related Professional certification(s): [e.g., i. Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) ii. AWS Solutions Architect (Professional)], iii. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, iv. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate), v. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional), vi. AWS Certified Big Data (Specialty)]
  3. DIA systems experience [e.g., Machine-Assisted Analytic Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Generic Area Limitations Environment (GALE), Functional Intelligence System of Hierarchical Networks (FISHNet), FounDRI, Event Data, Defense Economics Database, Object Based Production (OBP), Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), IC Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE)].
