A development application manager of highly visible and mission critical to Global Trade Finance front office applications. Responsible for managing a team of onsite and offshore developers (employees, BACI, STS, consultants) supporting three midrange applications for Trade Finance. Manages the HR aspects of the team, their work load, assignments and focus, applying strong leadership and strategic direction to ensure meeting all initiative and BAU commitments. Accountable for the application management of three complex global applications: CashPro Trade, Global Trade Exposure Management, and Purchase Order and Invoice Hub. The scope of the application management includes enhancements that are part of initiatives or small work efforts and BAU including L3 production support. This position requires technical experience developing large web applications with complex data models and multiple interfaces; demonstrated expertise in DBMS/SQL, Oracle, Java, transaction processing, messaging, report design, and application integration.



**Highlight of responsibilities:**



+ On time and within budget delivery on all initiative work by leading activities like o Collaboration with Product and Operations LOB partners

+ Project cost estimates

+ Technical solution design

+ Development planning and implementation

+ Coordination and collaboration with development and middleware teams in US, Asia, Europe

+ Production implementation and post-implementation support of solutions

+ Timely addressing BAU items

+ Coordinate remediation of GIS security findings

+ Keep applications current with enterprise routines (AIT, TOM/RISE, patching, access, technical recovery, etc.)

+ Respond to external and internal audits

+ Manage the responses to incoming ad hoc requests from LOB (Product, Operations, or client questions coming through Operations Support

+ Direct the technical onboarding and BAU management of custom clients including customized agent code and reports

+ Coordinate meeting the report client needs from understanding the asks through ensuring they are successfully met

+ Manage L3 support and ensuring focus, scope and separation of the CTO-managed L1 and L2.

+ Continued focus on improving and sustaining the application performance and stability

+ Provide strategic and architectural guidance for all development work

+ Work closely with the back office development manager/team and the business analysts within a cohesive team structure

+ Tightly partner with the back office development manager to ensure full alignment of the teams and coordinated delivery on all commitments

+ Become a subject matter expert on these applications and thoroughly understand the architecture and business interactions within Global Trade Finance

+ Learn the business of Trade Finance and be a trusted partner with the LOB working in a highly collaborative environment

+ Collaborate with technical and business partners in APAC and EMEA

+ Experienced in working in Agile. Promote and enhance the practice of agile methodology

+ As a manager, responsible for all HR team routines (e.g., employee performance plans and evaluation, team time off planning, etc.)
