This role will be responsible for short term and long-term category/portfolio strategies to position Agronomic Services products in the market and provide day to day proactive support to the Sales Team to advance local strategies/tactics that support the broader macro strategies. The result of these activities is to increase customer demand for our products and drive NIAT creation/capture.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Identify and prioritize financially viable Ag Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer market needs and communicate product attributes aligned with such needs and regulatory requirements across specialty and broad acre agriculture markets.

  • Develop global strategic asset plan; Develop regional POV and strategic go-to-market plans

  • Direct global licensing (IP, asset, brands); Set regional portfolio positioning, pricing, and optimization plans

  • Steward global asset forecasting; Lead commercialization process for assigned portfolio

  • Develop and update product concepts detailing near- and long-term strategies for assigned portfolio submitted for supervisor approval.

  • Actively participate as marketing representative on project teams, providing input for justification, approval, development, and introduction of new projects to commercialization.

  • Manage assigned product short and long-term supply, forecasting, and profitability by coordinating a balance between short-term operating results and long-term market share development.

  • Ensure development of market introduction plans for new products including internal coordination to bring the assigned product to market with external focus on development and implementation of positioning, messaging, and value proposition.

  • Developing effective positioning and pricing recommendations to optimize the value of the product line

  • Understanding commercial compliance matters and ensuring effective management systems are in place

  • Creating and utilizing effective scorecards to drive continuously improving business performance

  • Evaluate, negotiate, and implement specific 3rd party opportunities.

What You Will Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in product portfolio management

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Ag-Econ, Marketing, Business Management, Agronomy or Life Sciences

  • Experience prioritizing and stewarding the commercialization of assets/brands/product through their life-cycle

  • Effective change agent and track record in a matrix organization

  • Experience managing a team

  • Ag market experience

  • Proven marketing knowledge specifically with Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers

  • Global leadership experience in managing strategies (ex., technologies, go-to-market), projects, products, direct reports, and cross-functional teams
