The Director of Loyalty Development will reimagine our global loyalty program(s) and ensure the evolution is engaging to customers, economically sound, and tested E2E to drive current and future program performance.



Your day to day



  • Value Proposition Lead loyalty program evolution work through improvements in benefits and program structure; Develop and maintain loyalty value story; Partner with key stakeholders to reimagine value proposition considering financials, operational viability and member impact

  • Loyalty Economics Develop loyalty pricing strategy; Establish guidelines for loyalty assessment, owner reimbursement and RPC to optimize program economics; Ensure loyalty changes are financially viable by developing and modeling scenarios; Evolve Owner ROI measurement; Track perceived currency value;

  • E2E Program Delivery Manage end to end program changes, including pilots, concept tests and benefit enhancements / rollout; Be the hub on complex, interdependent program initiatives

  • Collaboration with peers, category leads and brand leads Identify opportunities to drive program evolution considering brands, owners, customer and strategic priorities

  • Loyalty Products & Partnerships Provide strategic needs based on program evolution and customer insights to enhance the program through development of loyalty-based products; Ensure constant collaboration on all loyalty products in partnership with product teams and MSS teams

What we need from you



Education -Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience



Experience -8+ years progressive experience with demonstrated commercial success in strategy, consulting, professional services or loyalty program management, preferably in travel or hospitality



Technical Skills and Knowledge



  • Strong knowledge of loyalty principles, concepts and economics.

  • Demonstrated the skills for the execution of program changes across the Business and On-Property

  • Cursory knowledge of data flows within the Company.

  • Cursory knowledge of loyalty program databases and operating systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Demonstrated skills/experience needed in building out a program vision

  • Ability to review and understanding business insights to support stakeholders in making decisions to build loyalty.

  • Demonstrated communication skills including ability to present to all levels of the organization, ability to influence and ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships.

  • Proven ability to develop, deploy and managing a loyalty programs benefits structure

  • Demonstrated project management skills in organizing, planning and executing mid to large size projects from conception through implementation.

  • Budget development/management

  • P&L / finance experience

  • Program or promotion strategy development and implementation
