Overview

In July 2018, Emerson acquired the Greenlee and Klauke brands to create the Professional Tools segment. Together with the RIDGID brand, this business focuses on delivering innovative solutions and tools to trade professionals in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fields.

This role primarily supports the RIDGID brand and will also work closely with marketing counterparts at Greenlee and Klauke to align marketing initiatives across Professional Tools including defining the digital roadmap and supporting one face to the customer initiatives. The role is responsible for driving brand awareness, capturing customer value, promoting and supporting new product launches, and other marketing initiatives.

This is a high visibility role during an exciting time for Professional Tools. The role is responsible for elevating the impact of marketing by developing and implementing new strategies and tactics. The role will work closely with sales, product marketing and other groups to align the marketing efforts with the organizations strategic priorities..

This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing and Business Development for Professional Tools and is based in Elyria, OH.

Responsibilities

Responsible for global brand strategy, development and execution for the RIDGID brand
Strong collaboration with Professional Tools marketing colleagues
Marketing Analytics: Understand and tie all marketing actions to results to assess and communicate the impact of marketing efforts. Develop standardized dashboards.
Digital Marketing Roadmap. Own the RIDGID digital roadmap including defining and scoping projects; assess the impact /effort of projects to prioritize among all Professional Tools.
Digital customer journey responsibility map the customers digital experience. Understand where they go first online and map their journey through the buying cycle. Develop marketing and content strategy that aligns with the customer journey.
Lead marketing communications team and marketing partners in brand marketing, communications and digital initiatives
Dotted-line collaboration with global colleagues that support regional brand marketing execution. Drive best practices globally and lead in the sharing of marketing assets.
Manage annual marketing budget including paid media
Manage agency and vendor relationships; establish annual budgets, goals, objectives
Manage internal and external legal claims, submissions and issues including all global trademark management responsibilities
Active in community relation and industry partnership activities; manage and execute donations and sponsorships on behalf of the company
Lead, build and execute trade school initiatives for North America; individually execute all donation and training requests including onsite event programming
Ad hoc requests as needed



Requirements
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, MBA preferred
5+ years marketing/management and leadership experience
Ability to work cross functionally
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to travel (~25% of the time)
