Role & Responsibilities

This high-visibility role will work with the operations, sales, and leadership team on Best-In-Class (BIC) processes and initiatives to establish optimized workflow through our operations. This position will be responsiblefor identifying and implementing BIC processes across in the USA, beginning with a focus on CS Operations in the East Region.

  • Meet with key CS Managers at each location to plot current workflows:
    • Proposal preparation
    • Order conversion
    • Project Set-Up
    • Scheduling
    • Billing (tracking hours throughout the project)
    • WIP practices
    • Collection practices
  • Will measure baseline metrics:
    • Turnaround time (TAT)
    • Promised Completion Date (PCD)
    • P&L Performance
    • Management and Administrative/Support hours required for existing workflow
    • Utilization and required OT
  • Determine BIC processes and establish optimized workflow.
  • Articulate and implement goals and objectives, initiatives, and BIC processes.
  • Implement BIC processes across the CS Operations in East Region initially, and then throughout B&C globally, including set-up, scheduling and billing.
  • Utilize consistent IT systems to ensure transparency.
  • Lead and collaborate with the Leadership team to establish appropriate improvement priorities, implementation targets and action plans.
  • Secure and leverage resources, internal commitment and support for integrating BIC processes.
  • Track results/improvement across all metrics - daily, weekly, monthly.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Operations, or related area.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a directly comparable role as an Operational Leader.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following industries: Construction Sciences, Manufacturing, Testing, Consulting or related industry.
  • Experience with data collection and providing value-add analytics, including measuring KPI's
  • Excellent communication skills including but not limited to interpersonal, listening, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage projects and large volumes of work.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office software and analytics/tracking programs.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to promote effective working relationships at all levels and create a positive work environment
  • Ability to manage by influence.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team based environment and maintain a high degree of personal credibility.
  • Ability to work within the business and apply solutions within the particular business context.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to conduct business across multiple time zones.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25 percent of the time.
