SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of the supply chain Solutions which includes directing IT operations, ensuring internal/external customer requirements are met, directing the support and maintenance of existing systems and applications as well as the development of new supply chain solutions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommend consultative solutions. Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures and managing solutions. Identify and determine system needs by identifying hardware/software purchases, direct implementation and ensure the business objective is accomplished. Identify emerging information technologies and analyze them for potential integration within the organization. Provide leadership and direction in policy and procedure development, enhancement and implementation. Develop and maintain partnerships throughout the organization in order to attain departmental goals and objectives. Ensure work performance is in compliance with company standards. Partner with business and IT leadership to develop Supply Chain Solution strategy, direction and prioritization of key initiatives and projects.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or a related field; or a combination of post high school and experience equal to twelve (12) years.
EXPERIENCE: 8 years of directly related logistics Technology or Supply Chain Solution management experience. Supply chain consulting experience is preferred.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the ability to perform financial analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to interface business applications with other systems. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization. Knowledge of and ability to conduct need, trend, feasibility and performance assessments. Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines. Knowledge of and ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives. Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
