The Wealth Management Strategic Initiatives team provides objective, actionable, and trusted strategic recommendations to the Wealth Management leadership team. The team is responsible for the development of business strategies that drive responsible growth and deliver value for shareholders. Its members work directly with Wealth Management executives and business leaders, and often in collaboration with other Lines of Business, to ensure strategic integration across Bank of America.

The Director will report to the head of the Wealth Management Strategic Initiatives team, based in New York.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Lead individual projects to develop Wealth Management strategy (e.g., shaping overall business direction, market participation, pricing strategy, client segment / channel strategy)

+ Develop strategic and analytical frameworks to analyze complex business problems

+ Conduct primary, secondary research and competitive analyses (e.g., product, financial performance, market positioning, etc.)

+ Perform data analyses to drive insights and inform recommendations (e.g., financial modeling, cost / profitability analysis)

+ Synthesize research / analyses, and develop concise and effective presentations

+ Directly interact with senior executives within Wealth Management

+ Present recommendations and facilitate senior leadership discussions


+ 7-8 years overall professional experience; 5+ years relevant experience in a corporate development or strategy group of a leading financial services, top management consulting firm, investment bank or private equity firm

+ Knowledge of financial services, wealth management and / or investment banking & capital markets

+ Strong leadership skills; team player / mentor / motivator / thought leader who is able to bring together people and perspectives to reach new solutions, build confidence and trust with colleagues across all levels of the organization

+ Comfortable with effectively navigating a multi-faceted financial institution

+ Entrepreneurial initiative, determination and energy to contribute, coupled with a commitment to the highest quality standards and attention to detail

+ Strong relationship building skills given the breadth of the organization and the teams close collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the firm

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

+ Team player, ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams

+ Self-starter, high energy and detail oriented

+ Ability to work with, and adjust to, changing deadlines

+ Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

**Enterprise Description:**

Acts as an objective advisor to LOB heads across a broad set of COO functions. Drives execution of key strategic initiatives. Leads reporting and analytical efforts to deepen understanding of business economics, client attrition, client profitability, etc. Leads analyses to screen potential acquisition targets and manages business development process. Executes business/strategic planning process across sub-lines of business including management of strategic reviews by senior leadership. Leads the design, development, execution and continuous improvement of LOB reporting and dashboards.
