The solutions engineering team is searching for engineers to help develop and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform to the world. You will work on state of the art technologies alongside experts in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and vehicle control for NVIDIA's next-generation automotive products. These products make use of the high-definition maps created by multiple industry leading mapping companies from all over the world.
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the creation of requirements specification documents for autonomous customer products. This includes defining the requirements and verification baseline.
Work across engineering teams to create, verify, manage, and track system-level and subsystem-levels of requirements and specifications
Responsible for the technical relationship and assisting the automotive customer in building creative solutions based on Nvidia technology.
Collaborate with engineering teams in our US, APAC, India and Europe locations.
What we need to see:
Experience in automotive or other highly regulated industries
Strong foundation in system engineering principles such as requirements definition, formal verification and validation methods
Exposure to / familiarity with functional and systems safety standards and practices like ISO 26262, etc
General understanding of the main SW technologies used in ADAS and self-driving cars (computer vision, deep learning, path planning, etc.)
Customer facing skill-set and background working with developers, researchers, start-ups and established technical/industry partners.
Experience in formulating system level requirements for embedded systems.
Prior experience developing production software components preferably in embedded systems.
BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with 7+ years of experience
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with good attention to details.
Experienced with requirements management tools like DOORS or JAMA
Experience in formulating system level requirements for autonomous systems.
Excellent communication and organization skills, good time management and task prioritization.
Dedicated and able to work with minimum supervision.
