HPE is excited to add an experienced Internal/Employee Communications Manager to our Corporate Communications team, since communication plays a key role in enabling HPEs transformation and our overall pivot to an aaS company.





This role will support a global business employee communications, responsible for ensuring we are tightly aligned to the organizations and companys transformation narrative. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and measuring sustained employee communications strategies and plans to advance the companys brand, and drive employee alignment and engagement.





The Employee Communications Manager will message, implement and measure sustained executive, field, channel or employee communications strategies and plans to advance the companys corporate image, drive employee alignment and engagement, enable selling success or promote executive visibility. Additionally, they will develop internal and external leadership platforms and content and manage speaker placements and prep. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope, and they will ensure communications align with companys brand identity and messaging framework.





Responsibilities:



  • Contribute to the development and execute internal communication strategies, plans, and tactics, including writing and editing presentations and other ad hoc communications


  • Drive and support key internal events


  • Maintain an editorial calendar for all-employee messaging


  • Handle tactical assignments and execute with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, agile environment


  • Partner with the Corporate Communications team and contribute to company-wide internal communications and engagement programs that inform and empower employees


  • Develop and execute change management communications


  • Ask clarifying questions and provide input to senior leaders


  • Help ensure employee communications and engagement activities are globally minded, culturally resonant, and consistent with HPE culture and values



Education and Experience Required:



  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.


  • 7+ years of experience in employee communications, journalism or marketing.



Knowledge and Skills:



  • An agile, flexible individual with a can-do, problem-solving approach to managing ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment


  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a highly cross functional environment to ensure project outcomes align with priorities and direction


  • Capacity to remain calm and prioritize projects with narrow timelines, where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel


  • Ability to think strategically and implement ideas from ideation and development to measurement and evaluation


  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the aptitude to articulate a clear point of view clearly and concisely on complicated issues


  • Experience creating content: digital, written, video, and visual communications materials


  • Experience driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications, from audience and stakeholder analysis through implementation and success metrics tracking


  • Demonstrated experience in developing rapport and credibility with peers and senior leadership


  • A curious self-starter with a track record of diving into unknown territory and learning new concepts


  • Flexible, bold, a sense of humor, a positive outlook, and adaptable to change.


  • Fluent in English
