Arthrex is the world leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of cutting edge surgical technologies for sports and other orthopedic applications.Working as a Engineer Iin the Packaging Process department, you will support the team with development and execution of Packaging Processes including material, design and equipment validation. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical writing skills and a Bachelors degree in Engineering will be essential for this position. This position will be located at our manufacturing site in Ave Maria, Southwest Florida.

Education and Experience:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Knowledge of medical packaging materials and processes, statistical methods, control plans, BOMs/Routers, and ability to read blueprints required. Design of Experiments and FMEA working knowledge preferred.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Pouch and blister tray sealing equipment, package testing equipment (burst, dye penetration, bubble emission, O2 Analyzer, shock/vibration, etc.) preferred; exposure to SAP desirable.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles using a calculator to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, calculating percentages, and interpreting decimals. Knowledge of basic statistical analysis is required.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
