This role will play a critical role in developing and implementing business strategy by managing platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment including identifying customer need, designing and validating concepts, developing business cases, managing vendor negotiations and relationships, partnering with technology to analyze and write Business and Functional Requirements documentation, managing to a budget SME in coordinating and developing communications with Marketing and Training, coordinating business and Beta testers, and implementing deliverables. Maintains a thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for platform supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality and resolving chronic service delivery or platform issues identified by client service/support organizations. Serve as primary liaison with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors.

The Platform Manager will lead and manage initiatives around the design of the platform including but not limited to, defining the POS and gateway strategy and providers, defining the POS logistics provider(s), define platform requirements, create the multi-generational plan for the delivery of the platform, working with the other work streams to ensure that their business requirements are included in the design, leading the execution of the pilot, being a liaison between product and technology and operations, coordinating with the card brands and driving the success of the POC and pilots. They will work with our legal, compliance, risk and other teams to ensure that Bank of America meets and adheres to all regulations for merchant acquiring, corporate and commercial banking, and card acquiring organizations as well as Card Organization rules.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to:**

+ Lead and own overall evaluation and selection of key processing vendors as it relates to merchant acquiring

+ Develop, coordinate and own broad range of group wide communications to management, business partners, and vendors.

+ Working with internal partners to obtain Acquiring Licenses and BINS from Card Organizations as needed

+ Ensuring that bank meets requirement to be acquirer and BIN Sponsor from card orgs

+ Work across other work stream to ensure requirements are captured and communicated to vendors and Technology teams

+ Work with Technology, Operations and Lines of Business to ensure requirements are captured, prioritized and communicated to appropriated groups

+ Liaison between technology, operations, product and sales.

+ Document features/functions of platforms for marketing and sales purposes.

+ Establish and manage cut-off schedules for funding based on LOB requirements.

+ Pricing and costing

+ Work with migration strategy team to map feature/functions of legacy platforms to the target environment.

+ Identify and provide internal and client reporting needs.

**Required Skills:**

+ 5+ years in financial services

+ 5-7+ years experience working with Card Issuing and Acquiring organizations, with an understanding of payments processing development lifecycle

+ 5+ years demonstrated working knowledge of transaction flows (authorization, settlement, chargebacks, disputes, etc.) and relationship with card org rules.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of transactions specifications

+ Ability to work across multiple initiatives and lines of business

+ Experience defining, developing , and executing a long-term business strategy

+ Able to manage multiple priorities and strategies in parallel

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Experience analyzing and solving complex business problems

+ Ability to communicate across multiple levels of an organization, both internally and externally

**Desired Skills:**

+ BA/BS or equivalent

+ Acquiring or payment processing background

+ Seeking experience for the above with specialized experience with:
