As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer, this role requires the ability to anticipate needs, with a consistent focus on forward-planning, including the preparation of logistics, information, materials and people in advance of schedules. Candidates must have a proven track-record in supporting senior-level management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Success in this Executive Assistant role requires exercising superior judgment based on in-depth experience, maximizing efficient use of time on behalf of the leader, exceptional time management skills, developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple constituents to move things ahead, and representing Risk Management in all communications.






Functional Responsibilities:




  • Support the Chief Risk Officer by managing all day-to-day matters including but not limited to preparing and coordinating communications, calendar management, meeting logistics for internal and external appointments and facilitating changes to daily events as necessary

  • Organize and maintain calendars, including scheduling large meetings with senior-level executives across Prudential

  • Organize and manage travel arrangements, coordinate itinerary details and expense reports and proactively mitigate unforeseen changes

  • Support the broader Risk Management team including managing logistics for employee, team, and volunteer events

  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations and Word documents on a regular basis

  • Professional representation and handling of all phone communications and in- person guests

  • Superior email management

  • Streamline and organize data and documentation with a keen eye for detail and maximizing efficiency

  • Be able to communicate across teams about priorities and business objectives

RSRPRUD

  • Five to ten years of experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting senior-level management

  • Exceptional proficiency of PowerPoint and Word required

  • High level of integrity, discretion and judgment in handling highly sensitive, confidential information

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred, but not required

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • Proactive problem solver who thinks laterally to resolve situations and find the right answers

  • Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have a high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently but also partner as a team player

  • Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods
