**LOB Job Description:**



This role will serve as an application lead to drive strategy and development work streams for the Payments Technology team. The individual will be part of team to develop our next generation of Payments and Transfers services. As an Application Lead, you will be a part of a team of developers delivering in an Agile environment. You will be expected to work directly with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and design/deliver complex solutions. You will also be responsible for utilizing best practices in order to ensure high quality software solutions. The ideal candidate for this job should have strong experience in Mule development. You should be capable of providing guidance to more junior developers.

Responsibilities include:

Rapid design and implementation of complex solutions

Provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions as individual contributor

Modernize and transform existing applications according to enterprise defined technology stack and standards.

Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.

Build the Solution Right

o-Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.

o-Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.

o-Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

o-Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.

o-Investigate and recommend best practices and process improvements.



**Required Skills:**



Supports End to End Technology for middleware programs and projects. Core technologies include Mule EBS, Java and Oracle. Partners with Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, Impacted System Owners and Solution Implementation Teams.

Should have multiyear experience in working with Agile teams and be able to lead all the agile routines and meetings

5+ years of experience in Mule

2+ years of experience in working with Spring.

Experience in designing and building micro services and messaging solutions

Should have recent development experience, the role is equally split between leading the team and hands on programming.

Lead a team of 5-7 developers to design and develop scalable and resilient systems



**Desired Skills:**



Financial Services industry experience

Experience with Java , Messaging platform and relational databases

Experience with cloud technology
