PSI, an Intertek Company, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, is looking for a Field Drilling Coordinator to join our Building and Construction team in Houston, TX.

The Field Drilling Coordinator will support the Building and Construction business by performing drilling, entering reports and data gathered from tests with the following responsibilities:


  • Coordinate & schedule daily field activities communicate with drillers, driller helpers and engineers.
  • Basic understanding of Geotechnical drilling operations, technical knowledge about drilling rigs and 18-wheeler trucks.
  • Assist drillers with all field activities, including but not limited to, drilling and installation of wells, plugging and abandoning of wells, drilling of soil borings, soil sampling, and groundwater investigations.
  • Physically complete projects assigned by the Driller/Project Coordinator/Project Manager
  • Complete all required paperwork, including daily reports, safety paperwork, and vehicle & equipment inspections
  • Attend all safety meetings and comply with both PSI and client safety standards and programs
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including equipment and job site areas
  • Maintain required paperwork on a daily basis in office



  • Have Associates Degree in Geology or equivalent
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to lift heavy tools (50-100 pounds)
  • Willing to travel out of town for short- or long-term projects
  • Able to drive a dependable one-ton pickup truck or equivalent
  • Able to pass an initial, random, and annual hair follicle drug test
  • Hold a Texas Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record
  • Able to physically implement work duties assigned in various weather elements
  • Willing to work diligently and take ownership over work whether project is small or large
  • Able to facilitate positive, professional customer relations
  • Willing to learn, ask questions, and offer new ideas and suggestions
