  • Providing business partnering and consulting to branch and region leadership

  • Responsible for assessment and resolution of HR issues, including but not limited to performance management, training and development, compensation, leadership development, associate relations and offices in transition.

  • Responsible for conducting confidential investigations into often complex and highly sensitive associate relations issues such as harassment, workplace violence and other violations of firm policies and provincial laws to protect the interests of the firm and its associates.

  • Acting as liaison for/with internal centers of excellence (Leaves of Absence, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HR Records, Benefits and Leaves, Payroll, HR Help, Offices in Transition) and with division/business and field leaders.

  • Responsible for the consistent and day-to-day administration and communication of human resources policies, procedures and business practices.

  • Bachelors degree

  • 3+years related HR Generalist experience

  • HR certification preferred

  • Business acumen with analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal business partners. Demonstrated success in influencing and coaching.

  • Must have working knowledge of Human Resources functions and practices (e.g. employee/associate relations, performance management, training, recruiting, associate engagement and retention, employment law, change leadership, coaching and communications.)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate complex issues across all levels of organization and division.
