Navy Marine Corps

The Navy Marine Corps business group provides end-to-end IT solutions to the Department of the Navy including transport, networking, end user hardware and services, cybersecurity and staffing. Using agile engineering and DevOps methods, we produce mission-specific solutions to solve the Fleet's challenges.

Responsibilities

NMCI Support Services during normal, extended, or after working hours if required.

Shall have the capability to provide queue management functions via HP Service Management System.

A monthly status report of prior month actions performed, future milestones and status of escalated NMCI Service Tickets shall be provided to the SUPSHIP BATH IT Division POC.

Subject Matter Experts (SME) with at least one-year experience providing NMCI IT support services, or previous success working IT within the SUPSHIP BATH community would be desirable.

NMCI SMEs shall have all rights and required elevated privilege access to NMCI laptops and desktops in order to troubleshoot and resolve IT problems on-site such as but not limited to: remote access, restoration of file shares, file and share permission management, print server management, user drive mapping, Video Tele-Conferencing.

In addition the NMCI SMEs will have the rights, appropriate training and privileges to provide IT support for MS SharePoint at the CEDC, ACAS, HBSS, IT and Service Desk support services.

The contractor staff will report to the SUPSHIP BATH IT Division POC and provide periodic resource reports as required.

Perform SIPR duties including loading of KEYMAT supplied by Portsmouth NSY at PTNH (NSY Portsmouth NH).

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Service Manager, Remedy, Remote Desktop, and Hardware/Software troubleshooting.
  • SECRET clearance (SSBI preferred)
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Basic network troubleshooting (TCP IP)
  • DoD 8570: A+ Certification on hand on first day. (Could accept Network +, Security +, or CISSP)
  • NMCI experience or knowledge preferred
  • Excellent customer service / customer interaction skills
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills for trouble-shooting and trouble ticket handling
  • Demonstrated aptitude and desire to excel as an IT professional/leader
