Delivers training programs to employees aimed at aligning employee performance with organizational goals and objectives. Research, develop and facilitate courses. Analyze course evaluations to determine improvements. Measure effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Designs, develops, delivers and measures effectiveness of training programs to support the training needs of the enterprise. Provides technical support for web-based, CBT and other alternative methods of delivery.
  • Responsible for ownership of specific course curriculums and modifies courseware as appropriate on an on-going basis. Consults on learning needs and intervention programs for specific content or target population.
  • Collaborates on program design and development and recommend changes and adaptations to materials based on actual experience gained with the materials when used in the field.
  • By consulting with the Business Unit, identifies problems, trends and/or performance gaps as they relate to the employee effectiveness.
  • Collaboratively develops appropriate strategies to help move the organization to a high performance environment. Prepares reports, makes recommendations and communicates changes, which impact business policies, procedures or practices.
  • Coordinates and leads meetings with clients to fully understand their daily operations, define their needs and help them achieve their objectives.
  • When necessary, provides additional support to other curriculums in the areas of design, development, delivery and measurement. Works as a team member to develop and deploy learning solutions from needs analysis and design through development evaluation. Participates in design, implementation and delivery of training solutions that support the enterprise.
  • Serve as a role model, mentor and coach to internal customers and other team members. Acts as SME regarding all areas of the OD/training function. Serves as a resource to managers and to HR team.
  • Master complex subject matter for a variety of highly visible initiatives that are of significant risk to the company. Maintain proficiency in the systems and procedures underlying the training program.
  • May serve as Project Leader in the implementation of specific programs. Communicate directly with key operational stakeholders to set implementation strategy.
  • Develop and administer tools to measure effectiveness of training programs. Make recommendations based on these measurements to address and minimize risks and ensure program integrity.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
  • Prior experience in a learning/development function in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of curriculum design and delivery for adult learners.
  • Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
  • Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions. Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems. Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
  • Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments. Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments. Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.
  • Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. Able to explain programs policies and procedures in language that is understood by others. .
  • Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted. Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
  • Ability to travel periodically to remote locations to conduct training sessions.
