    Candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team. Candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and handle tight deadlines.

    Primary Accountabilities:

    • In partnership with the Business unit, prepares, analyzes, and validates the monthly forecast, including providing commentary and variance analysis
    • Assists in the preparation and communication of monthly/quarterly reporting requirements, including variance commentary to the General Managers of the vertical Business units
    • Works with the Business unit and vertical Business units to prepare the annual sales budget and budget presentation
    • Analyzes, reports, and drives positive impact to the commercial and operations teams around Price/Volume/Mix
    • Analyzes, reports, maintains, and drives improvement in actual SKU profitability reporting; develops annual budgeted SKU profitability analysis
    • Creates meaningful and insightful ad hoc and recurring monthly reports
    • Provides financial support to the General Manager and Director of Operations for the vertical to which they are assigned (forecast, budget, etc.)
    • Performs special project assignments

    Requirements:
    • Ability to identify many variables and learn to understand their relationships, how the variables work together and anticipate/model future
    • Ability to identify and quantify variables, drill down, isolate, understand and effectively explain deviations to expected performance taking into account performance of all variables in aggregate
    • Able to think differently about a problem, articulate thought and influence the group to take a different approach
    • Team player, ability to work with various members of the organization
    • Strong Excel, SAP, and Hyperion Financial Management skills
    • Ability to maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing controls and cost accounting/general accounting
    • Ability to ensure that yours as well as others' work and information are complete and accurate
    • Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Include:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, MBA a plus
    • CPA or CMA certification a plus
    • A minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Highly proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) as well as SAP Business Intelligence and Hyperion/HFM
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and data-manipulation skills
    • Effective communication skills - both interpersonal and written
