Position Title: Financial Analyst



Summary


Responsible for conducting financial analysis of varying degrees of difficulty. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the linkages between the financial metrics and business levers resulting in expected feedback and guidance to the business on how to improve departmental operational and financial results.


Essential Job Functions


  • Create simple to complex models to fulfill various ad hoc requests for analysis.

  • Provide exemplary customer service to the business in quality of deliverables (content, design and completion time).

  • Collaborate with various levels of management to conduct ad-hoc analysis, projections, reports and presentations.

  • Communicate regularly with the management team to keep them well informed of financial and operational metrics via conversations, presentations and reports.

  • Prepare, review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual results including the tracking of key financial metrics, budgets and forecasts.


Education/Certifications


  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required


Experience/Minimum Requirements


  • Two (2) + years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting-related position


Other Skills/Abilities


  • Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, reporting and interpretation

  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet applications

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to examine large data sets and provide accurate assessments of trends, insights and patterns


Organizational Relationship


Reports to: Finance Manager Real Estate Acquisitions


Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.We offer a hybrid working model with 3 days in local office and up to 2 days working remotely each week.
